Fort Pierce, often called the Sunrise City, has been the Hub of Saint Lucie County, FL for more than 100 years. Situated on the Treasure Coast, named after the famed sinking of a Spanish treasure fleet in 1715. Fort Pierce is one of the oldest communities on the east coast of Florida. We cruise down the Saint Lucie River than head North on the Intracoastal. This is a wide part of the Intracoastal with few No Wake Zones. We pass the Saint Lucie Nuclear Power Plant on Hutchinson Island. The Fort Pierce Inlet has a beautiful Sandbar to stop for a swim. Multiple Waterfront restaurants are available for a “Dock & Dine” experience in Downtown Fort Pierce and along Hutchinson’s Island. Suggested Charter time is 6 Hours.
