Karen wears many hats! Karen is a practicing VIP/Concierge Internal Medicine Physician…we call her Dr. K. Karen was born and raised in Long Island NY., and has lived in Florida for 25 years. After her relocation to FL., she grew to love the ocean and boating, and decided to open The BoatMonkey Yacht Charters, so she could share her “off call” passion with others. Her first boat purchase was the “Magnum Opus”, and her fleet grew from there and is constantly evolving. Dr. K is looking forward to getting everyone out on the water for a day of rest and relaxation.

Michael has 35 years experience fishing Montauk Point, Jupiter, and Stuart. Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Tuna are my favorite fish to target. The fishing out of Stuart is the perfect location for gamefish and pelagic’s thanks the the closest proximity to the Gulf Stream.

Captain Rebekah was born in Chicago, IL., and spent the last 12 years in the Florida Keys as a 100ton Master Captain. Rebekah recently relocated to Stuart, FL. And is loving exploring all the new areas that Martin County has to offer, on and off the water. Rebekah is the founder of Kato’s Kid’s, and loves serving the community. Rebekah has worked as a paralegal, and also works as a boating instructor for Chapmans Seamanship School. Rebekah is always looking for an adventure, and is excited to get people out on the water.

    The half day spent on the water with Jay was the highlight of our time in Jensen Beach. Aside from being a very professional, knowledgeable and clearly capable captain Jay also did an awesome job engaging and interacting with the whole family throughout the experience. Our kids loved the time on the boat, and Jay found the perfect spot to let them swim on the sand bar. From the parents perspective, the boat was very safe, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Jay’s obvious competence and easygoing nature allowed us to completely relax and enjoy.

    All I can say is that The BoatMonkey is the best charter service you will ever use! Our party of 9 chartered the beautiful 44’ Monkey Time on a day trip from Stuart to Jupiter. Our fearless leader, Captain Jay, was the perfect pilot, regaling us with stories of the places we passed and joining in our birthday celebration whenever possible. The views were amazing, the Jupiter lunch memorable and the dancing was non-stop. You need to make sure you take advantage of the Monkey Time’s amazing sound system! All in all, this was as good as a charter gets and Captain Jay, who was one of the family by the end of the trip, is the best! Will absolutely be booking future trips with The BoatMonkey!
